Contract on the Assassin. Finally the Hunter is Hunted.

May 25, 2010

Well what do you know? Finally there is a contract on the assassin. The biggest political assassin the Indians have seen in their lifetime is Samy Vellu. While Pari was toiling with his pampers, sorry that time no pampers lah. Let me start again. While Pari was toiling with shit with his bare hands, maybe that is why he has got shit brains, Samy has already offered himself as the political assassin to the late Tan Sri Manikavasgam, then the deputy president of MIC. Samy pulled the trigger on the Late Tun Sambanthan when he shouted “Sambanthaneh Veliya Po”. Translated, Get out Sambanthan.

That was indeed the bullet that that did Tun Sambathan’s political career, and his life too some years later. He was so heartbroken that his confidant could turn on him and stab his back. Surprisingly rumour exist that at that time when Tun Razak came into power, he wanted Tun Sambanthan out. So who put the contract on Tun Sambanthan? Did UMNO had a hand in hiring the political assassin Samy Vellu, then the youth leader in MIC?

That was way back in 1973. Fast forward, 37 years later, the scenario is played again, only this time the hunter is hunted. Yes this is 2010, and the great political assassin, Samy Vellu is hunted by the current MIC deputy youth leader, Mugilan.

This epic might hit the climax on 30th May, where the GASsed up Mugilan is calling for a gathering to gain support to oust Samy. This meeting could fuel the early departure of Samy and hopefully Mugilan’s gas will explode on Samy’s face. However you see it this is one gas smell that Samy is too familiar with but this time the stink might be too strong for him.

Talking about stink, there is some shit disguised as Paari, and he is trying to smell like roses.

The following is the excerpts in bold are from FMT, Mon 24, May 2010.

Speaking to FMT, Vell Paari did not mince his words when he lashed out at Umno for setting a dangerous precedent.

“It is dangerous when outsiders get involved. Forget the fact that my father is the MIC president and just look at the issue from the perspective of democracy. He was democratically elected by the branch chairmen.

“So whenever there is a leader who does not see eye-to-eye with the powers that be, will they hire political assassins to bring him down?” he asked.

“When you are unhappy, you use people within the party to do things like this. It shakes the fundamentals of democracy, the Barisan Nasional spirit as well as the party members’ decision on who is to be their leader,” he added.

“Forget the fact that my father is the MIC president”. Now everyone wants to forget him but he is the sticking to the president post like a leech, I really mean leach because he is sucking every ounce of blood from the Malaysian Indians.

“Democratically elected”. He was forcefully nominated. MIC sent nomination form to all branches with Samy’s name nominated. And the only contender at that time has to face the might of Disciplinary committee.

This is the report from BERNAMA published in SUN on Mar 15, 2009.

Muthupalaniappan revealed that another reason why he was struggling to obtain enough nomination to fight the MIC top post was because division leaders, who are supposed to be returning officers in the presidential election, had turned campaigners for Samy Vellu.

“Division leaders are supposed to be returning officers of the presidential elections and this is stated in the party constitution. In that sense, they should not be allowed to campaign. How can the Election Commission campaign for a certain candidate?

“But this is what is happening now. Division leaders call for a division meeting and ask all branch leaders to sign nomination forms for Samy Vellu.

Anyone who does not sign is blacklisted. Now, is that democracy?,” asked Muthupalaniappan.

He argued that Samy Vellu should provide a level-playing field in the contest as the veteran claimed that he was “unshakeable” in the MIC.

“If he is as strong as he claims, then he should not fear and use these tactics to retain his post.

Come and have a clean fight,” urged Muthupalaniappan.

While, issuing such a challenge would be easy, one has only to ask, when has MIC politics been about fairness or involved a ‘level-playing’ field? – BERNAMA

And this too was in the article.

“If Samy Vellu gets wind of anyone trying to play politics within, then that person is chopped down using various excuses. There is no room for dissent. The MIC CWC is considered to be his band of men who readily agree to anything the president says,” said an MIC division leader, who declined to be named for fear of repercussions.

Maybe you should preach to your father about democracy. That would be impossible wouldn’t it. Because the only democracy both of you understand is mafia democracy and for the Indian film goers will be familiar with “Sornaka tactic” . Twist the arm of the opponent and for a good measure kill him, I mean politically, by sacking him from the party.

‘Umno drives the BN bus’

Citing the 2008 general election, Vell Paari questioned if the Indian and Chinese communities voted against BN because of the leadership of MIC or MCA.

“It had nothing to do with the leadership of these two parties. It is the inequality we have today, that was the straw which broke the camel’s back,” he said.

“BN component parties are only passengers on a bus. The bus is driven by Umno,” he added, indicating that it is Umno’s actions and policies which were the root cause of the problem.

What is it between MIC and the Bus. There is always someone driving their bus. No wonder all of them have the conductor mentality, collect from the passengers but do not care how the bus is driven or where is it driven too.

And about the straw that broke the camel’s back. The straw alone does not break the camel’s back, it is together with the other weight that does the back. Samy has been loading the Indian’s back with too much weight, with MAIKA scandal, MIED scandal, AIMST scandal, land grab allocated to the community and so on. So who is the cause for all this, UMNO?

In view of this, he urged all MIC members and the Indian community to “open their eyes and see what is happening as a dangerous situation is taking shape”.

If left unchecked, Vell Paari warned that in future, the leadership of component parties will be nothing more than an Umno “menu card”, which states who should be president, deputy president and so forth.

“We might have differences within the Indian community, with the likes of IPF and Makkal Sakti but that is okay; we can sort it out among ourselves. But to groom a political assassin to intervene, this is very dangerous,” he said, referring to Mugilan who is known to have close ties with Umno leaders.

Open their eyes, dangerous situation taking shape. Come on Paari, your father has trained the MIC men to swim with the shark. What could be more dangerous than swimming with the most cunning and biggest shark the Indian community has ever seen, your father, Samy Vellu.

Talking about MENU card in the future, is it any different now? You all have the mentality of ordering from the menu card only, even if shit is served.

And talking about sorting the difference in the community among ourselves. The one common stand that every Indian wants is Samy out and even that you all can’t sort out. And that too is in Samy’s hands. He just has to resign.  So it was not UMNO grooming the political assassin. It was Samy’s selfishness, to hang on to the post that was grooming all these political assassins.

Saying that Subramaniam is “guilty by impression”, Vell Paari likened the veteran politician’s denial to a cow which claims no responsibility for the milk and blames the milkman instead.

The cow does not come to your house, call you outside and with its hoofs presses the milk into your pot. You need a milkman to do it. Again the complain most of the time about milk is either it is too watery or it has gone bad. The cow does not add water to its milk. The milkman cheats and add water to the milk or he is negligent to let the milk go bad.

So this analogy is more apt for you and your father. Don’t blame the government and UMNO. It was your father who cheated the community by diluting the handouts by the government. It was your father’s negligent that lead to the Indian community ills.

Asked why Umno is now allegedly using the services of a political assassin to oust his father, Vell Paari replied: “To be honest, I am confused myself.”

You were a confused child from the beginning. You do not know the difference between right and wrong, democracy and dictatorship, life and death, clever and stupid, giving and taking, good governance and bad governance, good and evil, wife and mistress, good moral and loose moral, and I can go on and on but let me not confuse you any further.

I think your interview is a cheap shot and please don’t test the intelligence of the Indians any more. If you think you are smart to rally and unite the Indians to support your father against the so called outside threat, then you have gravely mistaken. The day your father appointed you to the CWC, that’s the day he has given the shovel in your hands to dig his grave, I mean political grave. So the bounty is on your father’s political career. Finally the hunter is hunted.
